MDP Groveton, LLC, owned by Madison Development Partners and Butcher Real Estate, recently rezoned their 4.6-acre parcel of infill land with the intent of developing a first-class, mixed-use project to include 70,000 sf of community-serving retail and office space, 290 quality condominium units and 15 townhomes. On site parking will be provided in a 725-car parking deck which will be concealed by the building's facade. The Richmond Highway elevation is shown on top below and the Donora Drive elevation is shown below. A panel of distinguished judges from the Smart Growth Alliance designated The Heights @ Groveton a "Smart Growth" development.

MDP Buckman, LLC, owned by Madison Development Partners and Butcher real Estate, was selected as the master developer of the 159,000 gsf South County Center displayed on the previous page. MDPB assembled land; rezoned the property; arranged $29 million financing; negotiated development agreements & leases; hired development professionals; oversaw the creation of site plans, building plans & specifications; and guided construction. Construction began Jan. 2001 and was completed Feb. 2002, on time and under budget.
