Jon E. Hass, Sr. has over 32 years of focused income property experience. In November 1994 he formed Madison Capital Advisers, Inc., (MCA), which specializes in providing investment advisory services as a fiduciary and/or consultant for the acquisition, financing, asset management and disposition of institutional-grade, income-producing properties. MCA’s services are provided to sophisticated institutional property owners including pension funds, insurance companies, trusts, universities, corporations and wealthy estates. Prior to forming MCA, Mr. Hass, was Senior Vice President and Partner with a major national pension fund advisory firm for over ten (10) years. Mr. Hass held the prestigious CRE designation from The Counselors of Real Estate and the MAI designation (now Retired) from the Appraisal Institute. He teaches Real Estate Finance & Investments at the graduate level for Johns Hopkins University and taught Capitalization Theory and Techniques for the Appraisal Institute for many years. He organized and serves as the moderator for National Association of Industrial & Office Properties national finance seminars held in Chicago, Dallas, & Washington, D.C. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) from Michigan State University and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialty in Finance from American University.
